Designing a web-based experience for managing complex data replication workflows.
Many enterprise systems rely on data replication to synchronize information across databases, warehouses, and operational platforms. These replication pipelines ensure that business data stays consistent across systems used for analytics, reporting, and operations.
The existing replication interface was originally designed as a desktop-style product created over a decade ago. As organizations began adopting modern cloud platforms and web-based tools, the experience needed to evolve.
The goal of this project was to redesign the replication interface for the web, improving usability while supporting complex enterprise workflows.
The existing replication interface was built as a desktop-style product more than a decade ago. As the platform evolved toward web-based tools, the experience became difficult to navigate and inefficient for managing replication workflows.
Users struggled to quickly monitor replication status, identify failures, and configure new replication pipelines. Setting up replications required navigating multiple configuration panels, while managing multiple jobs at once was time-consuming due to limited bulk actions.
These insights highlighted the need for a simpler, more structured experience that improved monitoring visibility and streamlined replication management.
The redesigned platform introduced a modern web interface that simplifies replication workflows.
